Should I take this Job?

This is not the best offer at this time. If possible wait for a better offer coming up in about two months. If you want to take the job, think of it as only temporary.

First, they are not truthful about the duties,  because they are not really that familiar with the job. They have not been in close communication with the people who run in the department. There has been some moving around in the departments recently, and the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.

There is also a problem with the set-up of interdepartmental communication. They need to make some changes, and upgrade resources and equipment but the money is not available.

There will be some type of cut -back in the near future and you may even be shifted to another department, which is not to your advantage.

Benefits, commissions, or bonuses will be less than promised. Promotions will be put off. This has to do with the future of the company, not with deceit on their part.

You will not do what you want to do and your talents will be wasted. Also I do not see any growth in this position. This ends up being more of a clerking type position than the administration or leadership that you are hoping for.

You will have to do more than your share because of the downsizing in the company. This has already started and they have lost several key players.

You are not on the same page with co-workers. For the most part you will get along with them, but I see you picking up their slack.

I see that your money is a little low at the time, so if you accept this offer, plan on a temporary basis only. This will add to your resume, so it is not a total loss.

Another offer is around the corner, and will arrive within the next two months, and your money is picking up at the same time.
