About Me

Currently, I am doing a weekly forecast, which will include long range transits. Click here for a three month seasonal forecast.

On the Home page, I will post more important events and links to articles that will go into more detail.  I will list new articles at the the Astrology Blog. Refer tthe Ephemeris, a list of the planets for the current month as well as the positions one of the new planets Eris, and Sedna.

2006

Many people are saying thank goodness 2005 is over, and what a year we had with all the intense aspects bringing world changes both environmentally and psychologically. The duration of the hard aspects are easing off, so we will not see such a steady assault, but this is not to say we are out of the woods.

The time from June 2004 until June 2012 is a time of dimensional shift on our planet, and this is not being handed to us on a silver platter. You may have heard that 2012 is the end of the Mayan calendar, but this does not mean the end of the world; it means that their calendar, which began many eons ago, starts over again in 2012, and this will be the beginning of a new paradigm on our planet. We have less than 7 years to prepare for this monumental event, and with the way time flies these days, we don’t have all that much time left. So what shall we do to get ready for this shift of dimension and what will 2006 bring us? This is the beginning of a series of articles that will tell you what is happening and what you can do about it.

2006

First, think of the events of the past year. Our planet has been on a rough ride since the Tsunami of December 2004. In the past, astrologers predicted major disasters every decade or so, but the frequency changed and disaster came every few years. Since the millennium it has been several time a year, and since the London Bombing, events have occurred several times a month. This is not surprising due to difficult aspects from the heavy planets, Mars, Saturn and Neptune. These aspects will ease off somewhat in the next year.

For those of you with planets in the fixed signs Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius, you have not had an easy time. After you make it through December, pat yourself on the back and celebrate the success to come. You have been affected by what is called a grand cross which has been active since this past summer, and that is a perfect way to express how many of you have been feeling. Throw away that cross, you don't have to bear it anymore.

Chiron in Aquarius

But don't get complacent; since you have done such a good job there is a new experience coming up for you. You have proved yourself by passing the test on the path of the cross, so the next event should be a piece of cake. What I am talking about is the entrance of the Chiron into the sign Aquarius on December 5, 2005. In astrology we refer to Chiron as the wounded healer, and if you want to get an idea of what you is in store for you, ask Aries, Cancer, Capricorn or Libra what has happened to them in the past four years since December of 2001.

Wounded healer does not truly describe Chiron, whose deeper meaning is transformation through struggle. Chiron wants you to evolve and reach a higher level, and he will push you and make you struggle over an over until you get there and experience reality in a new way. In mythology Chiron suffered, died, and was resurrected to be reborn anew.

The Chiron struggle is not going to happen continually for four years. Chiron may affect you in the beginning, middle, or end of the next four years, although for some, it will be the entire time, it depends on your natal chart. So - Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius, your evolution continues.

Those of you who had to deal with Chiron since 2001 are off the hook next year, many things will be easier for you. If you have planets in Aries you will have three years of highlights and opportunity. If you have planets in early Cancer - be flexible and prepare for unexpected advantages through the year, there will also be unexpected opportunities for Capricorn, and this is a spiritual and creative time for Librans—good for retreats, meditation and creativity.

Pluto and the Galactic Center

Pluto is within range of the Galactic Center this year, and if this sounds like a big deal it is. The Galactic Center, located in Sagittarius at the center of the Milky Way, is the most concentrated part of this galaxy and is the gravitational center around which our sun revolves. All that concentrated energy has been increasing our evolution and  Plutonian [deep] transformation. Those of you with planets in late Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces are probably feeling it now, but it will have a great effect on all of us. The last time Pluto was in Sagittarius was the start of the events that led up to American Revolutionary war - talk about a transformation!

These are just a few of the highlights that you can expect for 2006. Of course please remember, there is always an adjustment made to your upcoming events by the aspects and transits to your personal natal chart.
